How does anyone
Fit his or her lips
To words that
Dehumanize another?

Who are you
To tell me
That I can’t/
Do?

Who are you
To tell me
That I don’t/
Know?

Who are you
To tell me
That I won’t /
Be a success?

That I’ll never/
Achieve
That I’ll never/
Amount to anything,
That I’ll never/
Learn?

I am a child of the king!
He owns everything!
Therefore I am successful,
And I am prosperous.

I am fearfully and
Wonderfully made
By his hands.

I desire to have
The mind of Christ,
And he knows everything.

Devil, you can’t tell me
Anything!
You are the father of lies.
