I looked out the window this morning
And saw something I always saw but never saw
Trees that lost their strength, in a desperate longing,
Anticipating the return of their wealth

Why!! Did he betray himself to be shaven
Like the trees he lost his strength
Because he welcomed the cold atmosphere
The colorful splendor gone

Where!! Is the blessing I’ve been promised
Like the trees, I am bare
My pocket yearns for the spring
Yearns for the time of abundance

I saw something that couldn’t be seen
There is a time and a season for everything
Wealth returned to the trees. Hair begins to grow
My season will come. Strength and wealth are mine.

How does anyone
Fit his or her lips
To words that
Dehumanize another?

Who are you
To tell me
That I can’t/
Do?

Who are you
To tell me
That I don’t/
Know?

Who are you
To tell me
That I won’t /
Be a success?

That I’ll never/
Achieve
That I’ll never/
Amount to anything,
That I’ll never/
Learn?

I am a child of the king!
He owns everything!
Therefore I am successful,
And I am prosperous.

I am fearfully and
Wonderfully made
By his hands.

I desire to have
The mind of Christ,
And he knows everything.

Devil, you can’t tell me
Anything!
You are the father of lies.
