VISION COMMITTEES  (Committees responsible for the overall vision of the ministry) 

Oversight:  Nannette Pachol 

Responsibility:  To give oversight to each of the committee chairs responsible for the overall vision of the ministry and communication to and from the H2H President and Board of Directors 

 

Purpose:  This committee is responsible for all communication pieces that keeps all chapters of H2H on the same page.  These communication pieces include fliers, posters, multimedia announcements, e-mail correspondence, and any piece that requires any type of graphics and printing.

Committee Members:  

Fundraising Committee  

Purpose:  This committee is responsible for the planning and execution of fundraisers to will help finance the small group ministry, and subsidize conferences, retreats, missions and other special events.  These fundraisers will not be typical women’s ministry fundraisers as we are not a typical women’s ministry.  We want ever aspect of the ministry to be fresh and exciting, including the fundraising events.

Committee Members:   Special Events Committee

Purpose:  This committee will be responsible for the planning and execution of ALL special events including parties, teas, conferences, and retreats.  This committee will work with the fundraising, communication, decoration, set-up and registration committees to make sure that the event runs smoothly from the first public announcement to the clean-up.

Registration Committee

Purpose:  This committee will be responsible for all registrations including the 4 terms of small groups each year, and any special events.  This committee will also work closely with the communications, decoration and set up committees to make sure that the registration table is eye catching, informative and effective. The chairwoman will make sure she has adequate volunteers to man the registration tables 3 weeks before an event, more for big evens such as retreats and mission’s trips.

 Outreach Committee

Purpose:  To create contacts with organizations of our communities that help women in need.  To help these organizations meet the emotional and physical needs of women by furnishing them with volunteers and other resources.

SMALL GROUP COMMITTEES  (Committees for the smooth running of the small group ministry aspect of H2H)

Oversight:  Patricia Earley 

Responsibilities:  To give oversight to each of the committee chairs responsible for the overall vision of the ministry and communication to and from the H2H President and Board of Directors To give oversight  

 “Little Hearts” Children’s Ministry 

Purpose: To provide small groups of their own for the children of women who attend our small group ministry.  These small groups will focus on lesson’s that parallel with their mothers and provide follow-up materials they can share during the following week.  The chairwoman will make sure three groups: infants, k-2 and 3-5 are safely staffed with caring men and women who will help them to grow in God.

Hispanic Committee 

Purpose:  To help make the small group experience exciting, and empowering to our Hispanic sisters.  This includes providing translation for printed materials, interpreting the lessons and leading the small group discussions in Spanish.

Set-up & Clean-up Committee 

Purpose:  To set up and clean up small groups, registration tables and help with special events.

 Food Preparation:  Yvonne Cisarik, Doris Scott 

Decorating Committee  

Purpose:  To help come up with ideas for decorating registration tables, small group meetings and special events.  To find items needed to decorate and to help decorating each of these events.

Hospitality and Pampering Committee

Purpose:  To help each woman who walks through the doors of H2H whether for the small group meetings or other special events to feel welcome, honored and cherished.  This will include welcoming women, providing pampering services and helping women find their small groups.
